I am an Associate Professor at the Dept. of Informatics & Telematics of Harokopio University of Athens working on algorithms related to graph and data mining. Before, I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the INRIA research institute and the Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik.

I hold a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik and University of Saarland.

I hold an engineering degree (B.Sc/B.Eng/M.Eng) from the Electrical & Computer Engineering department, Technical University of Crete, Chania, Greece.
